No more Witch Wars. Be Kind to Everybody.

There are still witch trials and burnings happening in the world today. In places like Nigeria, India, and Papua New Guinea, accusations of witchcraft still lead to violence, torture, and even the killing of women and children. In 2023, reports documented children being branded as “witches” and abandoned or killed. In parts of Sub-Saharan Africa, people are still being executed over accusations that echo the same ignorance and fear that fueled the European witch hunts centuries ago. At the same time, famine is hitting countries like South Sudan, Somalia, and Yemen, where children are paying the highest price.

And here we are, with wars and hate already tearing apart our own country and the world. Kindness is the smallest act, yet it costs nothing—and right now, it matters more than ever. So many people are carrying burdens we don’t see.

I am calling out all Pagans, witches, and kindred spirits: we need to stand together. Forget the petty differences, the gatekeeping, the ego battles. If we don’t live by the values we claim to hold, then what’s the point? Lead by example. Be the voice, be the hands, be the heart that shows the way.

We need our energy, our love, our light, to spread like wildfire. To inspire, to heal, to strengthen. Let’s make that the contagion.
