Blessed Ostara 2025

 I hope this letter finds you well! As we move closer to the spring equinox, I wanted to share a little about Ostara, a festival that has always fascinated me. Ostara, celebrated around March 20th-23rd, marks the balance of light and dark as the days grow longer and warmer. It’s a time of renewal, fertility, and new beginnings—nature’s way of reminding us that life is constantly evolving.

Ostara has deep roots in Pagan traditions, which have been making a quiet but steady resurgence. Many people are reconnecting with the old ways, honoring the cycles of the Earth and celebrating the natural shifts in the seasons. Paganism, in its many forms, embraces a deep respect for nature, the elements, and the energies that surround us. It’s inspiring to see more people embracing these ancient traditions, finding harmony in the changing seasons, and reviving the spiritual connection to the land.

One of my favorite symbols of Ostara is the rabbit, which represents fertility, abundance, and rebirth. It’s no surprise that rabbits are associated with spring—anyone who has seen how quickly they multiply understands why they’ve become a symbol of life’s endless renewal! Eggs, another powerful symbol, represent potential, creation, and the spark of new life. Many believe that the tradition of decorating eggs during spring celebrations originated from Pagan customs, long before it was absorbed into later religious traditions.

I love how these symbols remind us to embrace change, to plant the seeds (both literally and metaphorically) for what we want to grow in our lives. Whether it’s starting a new project, setting intentions, or simply appreciating the return of the sun’s warmth, Ostara is a beautiful reminder that life is always moving forward.
