Solar Eclipses occur during New Moons -

A time of introspection, rest, refocus, & reassess. Forcing us to make room for fresh starts & new beginnings. It’s the time of the month to set intentions & begin the manifestation process with our desires.

This is the first New Moon of Fall and it occurs in Libra. A sign of balance, harmony, & justice. This Sun/Moon potent air energy wants us to keep the peace -without- compromising our own integrity. The universe is encouraging us to dig deep & admit to ourselves if the relationships in our lives are meeting our needs: Can we be honest within our relationships? Or, do we continue to bite our tongues to avoid confrontation? This is an opportunity to speak our truth, to listen, & to let go of the stuff that doesn’t adhere to our personal values; all while remaining completely objective. This is how we reset bonds within our relationships & breathe a bit easier.

Ultimately, this is how we practice diplomacy & cooperation with others. We all want to voice our opinions & feelings. We all want to be heard. So how do we without passing judgement or hurting others? It’s definitely tricky. All we can do is just do the best we can in explaining our truths, with compassion. ~Emphasis on the word compassion~ Embody empathy, while being honest. It sounds like a risk, but Libra is the sign of Justice. So the outcome will always be fair & things will work out for the best in the end.

This lunation wants us to get things off our chest &/or begin on a new slate when it comes to our relationships & new goals.

Practicing patience & mindfulness is at the heart of this New Moon Solar Eclipse. 

Affirm:

I will not compromise my integrity. I can be honest & loving at the same time. I trust the energy of the scales & I know Justice will prevail.

Gratitude jars for Mabon!

Made these cute gratitude jars for Mabon ritual.  I think they turned out okay, just wish I had a spray paint sealant for them. But I wonder,  would they still sparkle as brightly?

I was blessed with the ability to have ritual with four amazing people. We rented a campsite, an hour away at a water preserve. We had the place almost to ourselves! It was a beautiful cove with big trees to provide much needed shade in our 100° weather. It had benches around a campfire, a picnic table, grill.

The High Priest brought a May Pole he and the wayland made.

It was a sight to see out in the woods! 12 feet high, 18 feet of ribbon.

We had a squirt gun fight, a bonfire, and Smores. The High Priestess did this cool meditation in ritual. All in all it was a wonderful Sabbat! I feel blessed. Thank you, my Lady!

Retrograde Again..

You can tell when we went into this retrograde as all communications came to a screeching halt.

Even with loved ones you never agree with..until now.

Spellwork: Acorn Cap Candles & Pots with wild flower seeds

• Seed(s) Items to represent air- flame, earth- seed/soil, fire-acorn candle, water-dixie cup. 

Place the candle, seed(s) cup of water, and a small pot in front of you.
Protection & abundance.
HP: “Take this piece of paper and write on it your intentions be it for Protection or Abundance. We will add this to the bottom of the pot for our seeds.”

Fold the paper and place it under the soil (at the bottom of pot, away from the seeds) while speaking the words of your intention silently.

“We gather here on the beautiful Spring Equinox with family and friends to honor the Gods as the wheel turns. With this flame it will symbolize Air (East). We take this acorn candle as a respective of Fire (South). The cup of water is respective of Water (West). The dirt is respective of Earth (North) as we have all elements included in this spell for Protection and abundance.“

Plant the seed in the small pot filled with soil while speaking the words of your intention.

HSP:
“We plant these flowers blessed by the Elemental powers.
While I pour this water I use my words, and say fill the cup up only two-thirds.
I bless this water as your son or daughter.
We light these candles to avoid all the scandals.
We bless these seeds for abundance without any redundance.

We ask for the Lords and Lady’s protection with deep connection to those in this Circle.”

Ostara Meditation

Find a comfortable, safe, and quiet place to be for this meditation. Close your eyes. Relax and center yourself by taking deep slow breaths. Now journey inward.

Imagine that you are in a hilly countryside. It is just before dawn at the beginning of Springtime. The land is nearing the end of its Wintertime slumber.

You face the East and watch the Sun as it begins to rise. Rays of light shimmer onto the land and into the sky. Experience the beautiful colors of light that is the Dawn.

Now, as the glowing disc of the Sun becomes visible above the hills, you see the Goddess Ostara appear on the land in the distance in the East. She is beginning to move toward you. As She moves, the land awakens with new life.

You see Her coming toward you in the form of a Beautiful Maiden. You see Her radiant face and flowing gown. She is carrying a golden basket filled with colored eggs. Beside Her is Her companion, a frisky magical Rabbit. As They come closer to you, you see that with each step that They take, the land around them bursts into new life and grows green. New grasses sprout from the ground. Herbs flourish. Trees grow new leaves.

You call out a welcome to Them and to the Spring they bring. As you meet face to face, you see that the Goddess Ostara and the Rabbit are both smiling a welcome to you. Ostara then holds Her golden basket toward you and invites you to choose one of the eggs in it as a gift of Spring. You notice that each egg has a different color. You see the beautiful array of choices. You feel more drawn to one of the eggs than the others and choose it. Now you hold the egg that you have selected in both of your hands.

You first focus on its color and reflect on what that color means to you. ..... Then Ostara invites you to ask this Sacred Egg to give you a message about personal growth. You ask this and then are quiet as you pay attention to whatever words, symbols, sensations, impressions, and/or other forms of message emerge......

Ostara now invites you to take this Sacred Egg and its power of new growth into yourself. You hold it to your heart and as you do this, you absorb it into your being. You experience the renewal of Springtime. You radiate vitality. Be immersed in this experience.......

Continuing to experience vitality within you, you prepare to end this meditative journey. You reflect once more on the color and message of the Sacred Egg...... You bid Ostara and Her Rabbit companion farewell for now, knowing that they continue to live within your consciousness to guide you in your Springtime growth...... When you feel ready, take several deep, slow breaths to aid you in returning to waking consciousness..... Then slowly rise, stretch, and orient to the here and now, as you carry with you the memory of your experiences on the journey you have just completed.

Take a few moments now and note your experiences, including guidance you received for personal growth. So you can add it to your BOS for this Ostara Season..... Now, let the vitality of Spring renewal continue to be with you as you go about your daily life.

Anointing oils

I find myself in a cycle of needing to make all new oils. I'm going to start with anointing oil. 

 Start with some Frankensense and myrrh, benzoin ..  Add a dash of juniper, and orange. To a base oil.
