Introduction to myself, Hope and how I work with Crystals and Stones

I'm Hope. I look forward to getting a chance to get to know you a bit better throughout your time in the minute space of the net I call home.

I am a Tarot card reader, commune using oracle cards, crystal psychic, intuitive reading with 34 years of experience.

I'd like to share with you how I receive which stones I need to be carrying around or being prevalent in my environment.

When I was a little girl, couldn't have been more than third grade my father purchased me a bag of rocks and a rock polisher. It was one of the few fond father/daughter memories I hold dear to my heart. That was the start of my rock collection. I kept the stones for how they made me 'feel'. Many I couldn't even find them in a book or the encyclopedia or not. (Yeah, yeah, I'm old. LOL Pre-internet) Most would have told me it was just an ordinary rock.But, I ask you. What is ordinary? Is that not subjective?

How did I come up with the name of my LLC company?

 I was sure I wanted it to be a name others would be able to recall, it needed to be all-inclusive.

The author who is widely credited with coining the saying in its current form is Margaret Wolfe Hungerford, who wrote many books, often under the pseudonym of 'The Duchess'. In Molly Bawn, 1878, there's the line "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder", which is the earliest citation that researchers found in print.

Brightest Blessings on Imbolc / Candlemas

Imbolc is the subtle change between Winter  Solstice and Spring, Equinox the solar midpoint between the two. That signals the end of Winter and the coming of the Spring. The sign that Spring has begun. Soon there will be crocus and tulips blooming, small green nubs on the end of branches. 

Think out this the cold, old, and darkness (of winter) and into the warmth, new, and light (summer). 

The olden days, ie.. before the metal ages. Simple families depended on the seasons to survive. From knowing when each season was coming up; time to get seeds ready to germinate; time to cull the herd as winter is coming and there isn't enough grain or space to support the whole heard through a cold winter season. Their actual day-to-day survival depended on having some sort of calendar when one hadn't been created. Our ancestors created a method to know when these changes were coming. They used the sun, moon, and stars.  This is also the origin story of Groundhog's Day, as it is the same day. Many cultures throughout history have used February 1st as a Sabbat, a holy day.

Imbolc Incense Correspondence: feel free to mix these as you see fit. I like burning them on a charcoal disc.

Imbolc Activities:

• Make Corn Dollies
• Weave "Brigit's crosses" from straw or wheat to hang around the house for protection. (Link on how to make one)
• Hold a candle making party and then bless all the candles you'll be using for the whole year.
• If you used real pine for the Yule wreath or tree, burn some of it to send winter on its way.
• Make dream pillows.

Where did I get the stones in the bowl in my videos.

One of the best gifts that my father gave me in probably about third grade was a rock polisher along with rocks.

Some of the agates that are in that bowl you see in the videos I've owned since that first gift. Many others I've collected throughout the years in different countries and all over the United States. 

My thoughts on Mercury in retrograde

The first time I read about Mercury going into retrograde I didn't think it could be that effective or influence that much. To put a mildly I was a big skeptic.

 Fast forward 20 years and I have grown to abhor this time!

In fact, there are times that I don't realize it's coming or that we're in retrograde until after the fact. Meaning my communication screwed up people are misunderstanding me my computers not working correctly my cell phone is having all kinds of issues and sure enough, when it Google, we are in fact in mercury retrograde.  Then I say to myself, "Ooo weel, that makes sense now".😣. On the bright side, I also then understand how to deal with the situation.

I can't tell you how many times, I didn't listen to advice and would start a new job or start something new only to be in either a toxic and/or unhealthy environment. A bit of a warning retrograde can influence a few days before and up to a week after the 3 weeks of being an official retrograde.

If I had one word of advice to surviving mercury in retrograde it would be to - think anything you can add the letters 're' in front of. Examples would be renewal, rebuild. I think that gives you an idea.

Nothing new if you can at all help it, buying a house, starting a relationship, a new job, etc.
